Ridgewater College will be here on October 31st at 1:00.  If you are interested in speaking to the rep please sign up in the Guidance Office

 

There will be an NHS meeting for all Old and NEW members during lunch on Friday the 26th in Mrs. Larsen’s room.

 

If you have a good reason to ride a different bus, you MUST have a bus pass to present to the bus driver BEFORE you get on the bus.  If you have no bus pass, you are expected to ride the bus you are scheduled to ride.

You can get a bus pass from Angela.

 

The first sub-section game for the Panther VB team is this Friday at home at 7 pm.  Your student passes do not work for a Section event—so be prepared to pay your $5 ticket at the door.  Also, please remember that bandanas are not allowed in our school—any color, so please do not wear them as you will be asked to take them off.

 

All junior high knowledge bowl students-please pay your fees and turn in your forms by Friday.  Practice- next week Tuesday during lunch.

 

A list of the students that will be receiving academic stars and letters is posted on the window of the Guidance office. These honors will be issued at the American Education Banquet on Nov. 15th.  Please see Sara Timmerman if you have any questions.

 

Lets all wish Cayden Buysse  good luck today as he makes his way to National FFA Convention to compete in Fiber oil  and crop production. Cayden was selected as one of the top four people in the nation and will be competing for first place on Thursday in Indianapolis. Big Buddies start next week Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 30th and 31st.  There will be a meeting next Monday in the back of the cafeteria for ALL Big Buddies.

 

Friday is Red Ribbon Day at TAHS and the Peer Helpers will be putting red ribbons on car antennaes as a reminder to not Drink and Drive.  Did you know every 51 minutes someone is killed in a drunk driving crash and every 2 minutes someone is injured.  2 out of 3 people will be impacted by drunk driving in their lifetime.  Please join us in the fight against Drunk Driving this Friday by getting a red ribbon for your car.

 

Any type of vaper or e-cigarettes are considered tobacco products in a high school building.  Please do not bring them into the school building or on the school grounds as it will be considered an substance violation.

Please do not have them on your body or on your property.

9th & 10th - Career Panel in choir room once attendance is taken.  All tenth graders will be expected to be at school on Friday by 8:02 sharp in the choir room.

 

Detention is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Room 150 from 3:00-4:30 pm.  Mrs. Apperson is the supervisor.  If you are going to serve tonight, show up by 3:10pm.  If no students show by then, the room will be closed.
