Happy Birthday to Jonathan Erbes.


There will be a fan bus going to the State Wrestling Team Competition next Thursday, February 28, leaving at 6:30 am.  The bus would stay at the tournament until the team was eliminated.  Cost for a student bus ride and entrance for the first session of wrestling is $25; adult $30.  If the team advances to round 2, you would be required to buy an additional ticket for that session.  If you are an elementary student, you MUST have an adult chaperone with you.  We need 30 riders minimum in order to take this bus.  Sign up sheet is on Mr. Tauer’s counter.  You need to be signed up by next Tuesday at 3:00 pm.


Lost:  a gold necklace chain, last seen in the wrestling room, on the table in the corner by the coach’s office on Tuesday evening at 6 pm.  If you picked it up, please bring to the office so it can be returned to it’s rightful owner.  Thank you.


Self defense classes for young ladies in grades 10-12 will be offered for free on Friday, March 1 and 8 from 8:00-8:55 am.  This class is presented by Jeff Meyer and friends in the HS wrestling room.  This class will teach you how to defend yourself as your prepare for life as you become and more independent and living away from home.  Please take advantage of this free opportunity paid for by the school.  Sign up in the office.

FFA Emblem Scavenger Hunt clue #3: Touch your nose.  Touch the door.  Search for the next clue near the floor.


There are sign up sheets in the Ag room for people to sign up to help at the pancake breakfast at the Caboose on Sunday.


Congrats to the TMB-WWG Wrestling Team, Coach Campbell, and the coaching staff for their Section 3A Team Title!  They will compete at state on Thursday, February 28.


The midterm restricted list will go into affect Monday, Feb. 25.  If you are not passing or have an incomplete in a class, you will not compete.  As soon as you are passing and / or the incomplete is made up, you may compete.  You may not leave for open noon starting Monday, Feb. 25-Friday, March 1.


FCA will be selling bracelets for Emilie Hissam for $3.00.  The money will be given to the Hissam family to help with medical costs.  The bracelets will be coming in March 1st, so please consider setting $3 off to the side for this great cause.  Emilie is fighting pneumonia and a staph infection at the Sioux Falls Sanford Children’s Hospital.  Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

Senior High Knowledge Bowl- Bus departs at 5:00, next week Monday the 25th to Pipestone.  Bring money for McDonalds.


This week our school will join 25,000 schools nationwide in the Pennies for Patients project. Pennies for Patients is a Community Service Project that helps raise money to help people who are sick with blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and melanoma.  The Peer Helpers will be having a contest to see who can bring in the most change.  We will be handing out collection boxes to each student on Tuesday Feb. 19th and will collect them on Friday Feb. 22nd There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize for those that bring in the most change.  This is for a great cause so start digging out your change!  

The Snow Dance will be held on February 23rd at Bitton's Roadhouse. Sign up by Friday this week. Cost is $20 for FFA Members and $25 for non FFA Members. 


Detention is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Room 150 from 3:00-4:30 pm.  Mrs. Apperson is the supervisor.  If you are going to serve tonight, show up by 3:10pm.  If no students show by then, the room will be closed. 


The After School Program is open to all students Mondays-Thursdays.  Bussing is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm at Door #1.  The bus has drop-offs in town, Balaton, Garvin.  Drop-offs in Currie are on Tuesdays only.  Once you leave the after school program, you must exit the building.
