To the student:

As you enter the world of driving, please accept the fact that driving a vehicle is to be taken seriously and with a tremendous amount of responsibility.  Your actions affect not only yourself, but also all highway users.

Driving is a privilege and a major turning point in the lives of teenagers and their parents.  The cost of driving, the risks, the pressures, the responsibilities…all speak to the need for a well-trained and educated driver.  Driving is not something to learn by trial-and-error.  Driving involves skill, knowledge, and most importantly:  low-risk driving habits.

  • Class Expectations
  • You must be in attendance for 30 classroom hours and complete 6 hours of         behind-the-wheel training.
  • You need to be on time.  Tardiness will not be tolerated.
  • All assigned course work must be completed and submitted to the instructor before the completion certificate is issued.
  • Effort and behavior reflect your attitude and maturity.  The attitude and behavior you display in the classroom will carry over to your attitude and behavior when you get behind the wheel.
  • Come prepared to class with a folder, notebook and pen/pencil.
  • All students have an equal opportunity to learn.  If you disrupt class, your parents will be notified.
